Easy Vegan Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies Recipe | Plant-based Recipe

A simple deliciously soft, chewy and gooey chocolate chunk cookies recipe that doesn't require refrigeration!

Makes 9-10


  • 65 g golden sugar

  • 80 g of room temperature vegan butter (I used Naturli's)

  • 1 tsp of vanilla

  • 1/4 tsp of molasses

  • 175 g plain flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 cup almond milk

  • 250 g of Dark Chocolate

  • A pinch of sea salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF/180ºC/Gas Mark 4

  2. Line baking tin with greaseproof baking paper.

  3. Whisk the butter, sugar, vanilla and molasses together until they are combined.

  4. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda into the bowl.

  5. Add milk and fold. Be careful not to over mix here.

  6. Add chocolate chunks with a pinch of salt and combine.

  7. Using an ice-cream scoop, scoop out the cookie dough and place on the tray roughly 2inches apart

  8. Place in the oven to bake for 12mins.

  9. Once baked, let the cookies cool slightly for melted chocolate or completely for the chocolate to harden.
